When you reach Gyaku, defeat him but do not use a Death Move on him when the voice says, "Show Your Mercy." Gyaku will explode, turning into a demon, and you will be transported to a different Combat Zone. To fight the demon that possesses Gyaku, play the game on the Hard setting. For an alternate ending, defeat Gyaky in the Hard or Ninja modes but DON'T finish him.
